What Happens When We Die - Medical/Expected Death

Death is often a taboo topic. To think of the end of one’s own life requires surrendering everything we’ve known to be certain, and that can be terrifying.  What happens? Where do we go? Will we cease to exist? These are all common questions that people want to know regarding the inevitable process known as death.

Once again, my insights are gleaned from thirty five years of seeing subtle energy fields, and fourteen years on the streets as a paramedic. Even so, this is only my...

How To Tell If You Are Absorbing Other People’s Energy

One of top questions I’m asked is ‘How do I know if I’m absorbing other people’s energy?’  The next question is always, ‘How can I stop doing that?”

One way to tell that you are taking on and retaining other people’s energy is the state of your physical body. If you are physically heavy, chronically lethargic, have GI, endocrine, or nervous system issues, or if you are emotionally unstable, there is a good chance that you’re...

HOW TO CHOOSE A HEALER

By Sarah K. Grace

While it’s true that I believe we are innately all our own greatest teachers and healers, sometimes we can come up against difficulties in life that have us looking outwardly for guidance and direction. This blog post is a quick little ditty about the best ways to find the right healer to help you in that time of need.

First things first, what is the nature of your problem? Physical? Mental? Emotional? Spiritual/Energetic? Combination?

All energy...

Empaths and Ayahuasca

Both the terms Empath and Ayahuascaare hot topics in the spiritual and energetic communities right now. An empath is a highly sensitive person who absorbs the physical, mental, and/or emotional pain of others. Ayahuasca is a shamanic plant medicine originating in the Amazon that is now sweeping through spiritual communities all around the world. Many well-intentioned people are jumping on the medicine bandwagon in the name of healing or ‘spiritual growth’ – perhaps for good...

Medical Intuitive Quiz

A Medical Intuitive is an intuitive or holistic healer who specializes in perceiving information concerning the human body. A medical intuitive can energetically read the insides (organs, glands, blood, etc.) of our bodies. This work is done by intuitively scanning the body for areas or imbalance that may need alignment or treatment. Often times the medical intuitive will be able to explain the connection of the energy to an emotion or an event causing the illness. Intuited information can then be...

Why Is Everybody Suddenly An Empath?

Have you noticed a dramatic increase in the last five or so years of people calling themselves empaths? Me too! It’s got me thinking, “What exactly is an empath, and where did they all come from?”

What were they up to before? Are people just now waking up to their emotional experiences and really relating to what it’s like to feel things deeply? My little paramedic brain finds this trend fascinating and wonders why is it just now that everyone seems to be coming out as an empath....

Ten Minute Happiness Exercise

Here’s something I do on a regular basis to connect with my own vitality and happiness (since it’s often easy to forget what feeling good feels like when life gets crazy).

1. Sit or lie quietly with your eyes closed.
2. Take a few deep breaths and relax your body.
3. Think of a memory or time in your life where you felt really happy
(Like – laughing so hard your tummy hurts).
4. This may take a moment so be patient as you sift through the so-so memories.
5. Once you find it, focus on...

Pitfalls Of The New Age Movement

Most people are familiar to varying degrees of the broad and global New Age movement: love and light, starseed and indigo children, crystal bowl sound healing tracks, and all things etheric. This movement began somewhere around the end of the 1960’s and rose to its height in popularity in the 1990’s. It’s still strong in some communities, while offshoots of the concepts can be found in healing communities globally. With good reason! The concepts at the core of the movement can be great!...
